Society is the sum-total of the mentality of the majority. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link and a society is merely as successful as the mind-set of its people! The conscious mind of the individual is being ruled by the subliminal and without proper self-knowledge the individual will not be able to show positive response to stressors.

An over-inflated balloon will burst at its weakest point and in the exact same way will excessive stress find its expression via the weakest link in the individual's emotional chain!

On top of permanent Martial Arts, Urban Survival Psychology (Self Defense), Fitness & Health and Yoga, the AZA program is concerned with the empowerment of the individual by means of educating people intellectually, emotionally as well as physically. These three horses (emotion/reason/conduct) are the driving forces, propelling the wagon of life! Therefore the initiative of the AZA program is an attempt to uplift society as a whole by educating the general public in Urban Survival Psychology. The most important part of what we do is uplifting the learner's self-confidence by teaching them a form of auto psychoanalysis and by that, raising the quality of people's life-experiences!

Our permanent Martial Art is a combination of Karate, Kung Fu (Wushu), Jujitsu, Judo and Boxing and has been worked out to combat "street-like" attacks and "Crime situations". On the other hand we offer a secluded "Bushido-like" style consisting of Kata, Bunkai and Azazen (a deep and complex discipline of the Psyche), therefore AZA cannot be defined as a 'sport' but rather as a "Life-Style"!

We have a very successful communal program, popular especially under women. We conduct some of our Urban Survival Courses (Self Defense Courses) and Martial Art Classes at the AZA Dojo which is located 30 m from the stunning beaches of Kwa-Zulu Natal, but for the past two years we have presented our courses all over South Africa as well as in Europe and our vision is to expand to the United States Of America as well as New Zealand soon! SPONSORED AZASOS RURAL-COMMUNITY PROGRAMS

But sadly, those who need it most, the masses of our South African rural areas are always left behind because they simply do not have the income to pay for such comforts! These citizens hardly have enough to survive, yet they are being victimized by a minority criminal element, keeping them in fear-submission, destroying lives that never had the opportunity to recognize the meaning of the word "Quality-life-experience"!

We have initiated a motivational program whereby we educate our citizens in the rural areas on strategic planning, which entails:

• Civil co-operation and support to reverse the criminals' intimidation.

• Teaching how to identify, avoid and override danger situations.

• Educating them on their civil rights according to our constitution.

• Giving proper training in Urban Combat in a fun way and,

• Elevating their urban status by teaching:

• The workings of the psyche.

• Critical thinking.

• Understanding relativity of perception.

• Awareness and understanding of HIV/Aids.
  

• Dealing with depression & stress and lastly.

• Motivating them into auto enthusiasm.
  

'In this present day, children are living in our world; tomorrow we will live in theirs!'

Furthermore we have initiated several additional community programs in the rural areas of Kwazulu Natal, which we believe will inevitably provide a lasting solution to poverty, environmental issues, racism and crime.

We aim at educating the general public (free of charge) on safe-living.

But the most worthwhile part of our program finds its expression in the monitoring and motivation of nursery and primary school teachers, since those little children under their care, will one day be the dynamic forces of our world!
